Slide Wear on my USPc .45

I've been getting the dreaded slide wear from my C-TAC holster, is there anyway I can get it refinished? I have heard that HK basically won't even talk to you unless you are some form of police or military agency on this.

Slide wear happens, adds character. If it really bothers you send it to Robar or ARS. HK does not refinish on this side of the Atlantic.
