Hey all,
I have a USP-C .357sig that I absolutely love and want to retain her beauty. She's showing signs of holster wear and also the top of the chamber is starting to show some silver from the slide.
Will HK refinish my slide or my barrel?

I think that the answer to this question is No. Do a search, I have seen third party places mentioned re refinishing that will be happy to deprive you of your hard earned and tidy the old girl up

If it's a safe queen, why not buy two of the same models, leave one in the safe so it stays purdy and use the other as the tool it was intended to be? I'll bet that refinishing it isn't going to be inexpensive. Just a suggestion...

You'd be better off sending it to Robar http://www.robarguns.com/roguard.htm if you really want it done. Personally, I would leave it. Guns have character when they show holster wear. It means their not "Safe Queens".

Refinishing a slide is not terribly expensive.
I have had a couple done by CCR > http://www.ccrrefinishing.com
I haven't had a HK's but I am considering sending my P7 to him.
First class work.

I love my IonBond on my 1911 and after 1k rounds it has yet to show any wear on even the barrel hood which is amazing. There is no holster wear at all and it is carried daily IWB.
If I cared how my HK looked I would IonBond it as well but this is a production SD pistol not a beauty queen.

Robar Does excellent work and have been toying with the idea of sending one of my guns off for a refinish...I have heard nothing but positive feedback about these guys, Go with the NP3 IMO one of the best looking finishes on the market and is all business..

How fast was the turnaround with CCR? I think I am about to send my Beretta 92 off to have them refinish it.

Not sure if they still have an arrangement, but at one time Arizonaresponsesystems.com was the official HK refinisher. However, I just looked at his site and he says he's so backed up he's not accepting any more work until April or May of 2009.

http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/ does great work, I believe they're still an authorized HK refinisher.

1 more for IonBond, that stuff is a very, very tough finish.
