Quick question can you carry a SP89 as a CCW.

I don't see why not. Just be prepared to defend your choice of firearm in court if you ever have to use it.

Right you are about defending your choice of carrying that weapon. I dont get it though. It is not right! If you are law following citzen your should have the right of carrying what you want to defend yourself if licensed. I do not think we have crminals checking themselves before they go out the door hmmmm is this extreme choice of weapon I am carrying?

My question is...how do you conceal it?

My guess is in a black HK marked Eagle Industries nylon shoulder rig. Make sure to use the 15 rnd sp89 mag for max concealment. Two thirty rounders in the rig should provide ample backup.

The question I have is, why you would even consider it? There are other pistols that are more conducive to a CCW then a bulky SP89

My question also. Sometimes I find it hard to pocket-carry a PPK without feeling like everyone in the room knows I'm packing, other times I can feel completely "blended-in" with a full-size 1911 in an IWB rig. But for the life of me I can't imagine concealing an SP89. Maybe in really cold climates you could pull it off?

While the briefcase is very cool, I would still prefer the shoulder rig. You have to spend too much effort keeping track of the case where the rig keeps the piece on the body and the case produces some nasty claw marks.

There's no reason you couldn't according to Texas law. A friend of mine used one for his CHL renewal last year. I think I could conceal one in a shoulder rig under a jacket, if I ever wore jackets.
