Gents,

I wanted to know if I purchased an MP5 with the SEF (or 0, 1, 30) Lower Group, can I swap it out with the housing of a Navy Lower Group housing, still using the SEF registered sear/trigger pack?

I already understand the clipped vs pinned and types of stock applications so that is not my area of concern.

It looks as though the SEF group is much thicker and would therefore at least require a different selector lever. Is that all that is required?

I want to do my part and support the economy by purchasing as many guns as possible, please help me get out there and spend, spend, spend.

Respectfully,

Gary Halsey, U.S.M.C.

I mads this thread recently because I was surprised to see a Mark 23 with a new production date. The one I saw was made in '08.

I assume, like the P7M8, these are still being made in limited numbers.

Thanks HK 4 life, I changed the question because I saw the answer in a thread that was similar to mine after I posted my question.

I'm new at posting, usually I just ask a few people questions about guns I'm buying and new to this posting portion.

Thanks for the quick reply.

No problem. You will come to find HKPRO is full of great and helpful people. :)

But you might want to ask this next question in another thread. Also, it is in the wrong section now. Go over to NFA talk and start a new thread there.

I saw a AI date code Mark 23 the other day for sale $2299 with hard case. Guess they'll keep making them as long as we keep buying them.
