Thinking about refinishing the slide on my HK P2000 to a flat silver finish of some type. Not sure what company to use yet. Can anyone give me any recommendations and some pictures would be GREAT.

Also, being a long time GLOCK and 1911 owner, I'm used to replacing things like springs every once in both the gun and magazines once while. Recoil springs, trigger springs, firing pin springs, mag springs, etc.

This is something I've never done on my HK pistols but they also don't see as many rounds as my GLOCK or 1911 pistols either.

My P2000 is sorta getting up there in round count and I'm wondering if there is anything I need to replace or inspect. I'm about to make my P2000 my carry gun.

Firsthand, I can attest to the NP3 finish from Robar. Beautiful finish! http://www.robarguns.com/

Second, I've been reading great thing about a new finish called IonBond. http://www.ionbond.com/

Finally, these guys also come highly recommended by the guys at SigForum. http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/

Good luck! Show us pics when you're done!
