I have had this handgun for a while and have put a few thousands rounds through.
I have a Diplomat can on it.
Today for the first time I tried some wolf ammo to see how it would do.
It wouldn't cycle at all . Has anyone else had a problem with wolf .45?
thanks

I don't use Wolf ammo in any firearm.

I've found Wolf .45 to be very dirty but also very accurate and reliable. I haven't tried it with a suppressor though. My guess is that it just isn't powerful enough to cycle the pistol with the added weight of the can.
For around the same price as Wolf I would pick up some PMP S. African from wideners or some Fiocchi. Even WWB has trouble cycling some tacticals with cans. I have read they were designed to run suppressed using Fed. American Eagle.

+1
Only time I ran Wolf suppressed it crudded my LID's to the point of jamming. When I pulled them by hand to check the LID movement I could feel the drag & buildup breaking off. That's some nasty ammo.

I ran 1 box through with no hicups at all with out the can on.
As soon as I put the can on I had to hand cycle it each time.
I never tried it with WWB with the can. I'm going to try that next see how it performs.
Federal AE never had a problem or when I load my own.

I wouldn't use Wolf. Too many people I know have problems with it.

No, not all of them....they just whine a lot about cleaning all the residue.
Too many brands out there that are cleaner. I would use it if it was the only thing available I guess....but then my HK45 is certainly not a Sig!:72:
