    Default WTK: MP5KSD Price

My new MP5KSD is now going to become someone else's. Need the cash!! and want to know your opinions as to what I should ask for my MP5KSD.
SP89 sent to RDTS for MP5KSD conversion. SD comes with the RDTS built suppressor and a fake suppressor that covers the ports for unsuppressed fire.
    SEMI AUTO REGISTERED AS PISTOL!

    What do you think guys?
    Thanks.

Here is a photo of the length versus a full size MP5 pistol with AAC Evo 9 suppressor.

In case you were wondering, the KSD uses the same barrel as normal SD builds by RDTS.

I sold one back in the spring identical to yours with a burst pack for $19,500.I dont think I could get that now though.I think about $17K or thereabouts.

This is an SP89 that is converted?? I am in the market!!! Does it come with a FA bolt?? Is it remarked??? I would say that SP89 are around 3500 or so. I believe RDTS is asking around 1600 for the conversion?? Someone please correct me if I am wrong?? I emailed Ralph a few times but never got a response. I would say somewhere around 6K if anyone is buying. Gun market seems to be pretty tight right now. just my 2 cents. GYZ

Yes, it is a SP89 that was converted and it has been remarked. I believe it has an F/A bolt. I will double check. The current conversion rate is $2200 with the fake suppressor.
I will try to get a few extra photos up for viewing.

In my personal experience, if you have something custom take the total you have into it and subtract 20%. That will be a realistic final price.

I'm a little more optimistic than este. I think if you added the current price of an SP89, any parts you purchased, and the current conversion price, you could sell if for about that.

Maybe start with a little bit extra since you may find a buyer for which not waiting is worth some extra money. Then drop the price little by little until it sells.

It also depends on how quickly you want to sell it.

I have had it on GB starting at $.01 with a Buy It Now at $6,600 (with reserve at $6,400 to cover GB cost) which is to high, but you never know. The bids have only been as high as $3,950. I guess there aren't very many buyers out there. I am currently negotiating for a Springfield M21 Like New with Kreiger barrel and cash. Guy knows HK's and I am hoping to finish up the deal ASAP.
I have chatted with another person for a SP89 trade with cash. At this point, I am open as I need to get some cash ASAP. Wish me luck.

I was offered 12 years ago $4400 for my MP5SD (without the trigger pack of course)
But that would have required a SBR stamp to separate. Ergo, I do not think around $5K would not be out of line.

Tough call.... I say SP89 price at today's average + cost of suppressor. Kinda hard to add in the cost of having it modified and re-stamped. That is no different than telling someone they have to pay for an MP5 and add the cost you paid to have it refinished before the sale. Kinda like buying a house and making you pay for the appliances. Those are just included in the sale.

Arrow SP-89 pistol conversion to MP5KSD

I would stay at auction with it...

    Place a buy it now price @ $ 5800.00

    Reserve meet price @ $ 5500.00 or $ 5600.00

Take more detailed pic's up close...

Offer the pistol as a whole kit with 4 mags, single point sling, and tactical carry case...

Stay on it... You will sell it... Stay away from the $ 6k + price tag...

If you decide you wanna trade it for an M1A match type rifle M-21... Go after the M-25 Carlos Hathcock model limited edition run for the trade value of you SP-89 conversion gun... Get something really good for the time and effort you put into transitioning your SP-89 into something HK should've made in the first place...

At least the rifle and solid matching US Optics scope will do...

You will love a long gun rifle like this... I wouldn't sell mine for the world...
