Well, in the past I have owned a USPf 9mm V1, and a USPc 40 V1. I am used to having DA/SA setups but have toyed with the Sig DAK, and the Sig p250 DAO platform in the past.
I got rid of the DAK but in defense, I shot it okay. I'm a big Sig fan and in the past have always owned DA/SA Sigs. I shoot Glocks and M&P's well, but don't care for striker systems.
Now, the USPf 9mm, was a dream to shoot. No recoil, and the DA/SA was okay in my book. It was no Sig DA/SA, but I was very pleased.
I like the feel of my new to me P2000 LEM, but I got offered an identical P2000 but in V3 DA/SA setup.
I'm not quite sure whether or not I should trade to be honest. I haven't been to the range yet, but I'm sure I will shoot either setup just fine. With practice, most people can handle whatever platform they use.
I plan on getting a P2000sk to match it for carry and want to have both setup the same way...I think.
I could always keep my LEM setup and just get a P2000sk in the same caliber, just in a V3 setup.
How would you all look at the situation? I know a lot of people like the LEM, and a lot like the DA/SA setup.
Can anyone try to lead me into what they prefer, and why?
I know this is an open ended debate and it can ultimately come down to just "do whatever feels best" but I can't rent a P2000 V3 anywhere near where I live to test it out.
From what I understand, the V1 USP's are not the same as the V3 P2k's. They don't allow you to carry cocked and locked on the P2k right?
