Smallet 45 Ive shot is a kahr PM 45, recoil wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be, wasnt as accurate as I thought it would be either. Worst small compact/pocket pistol was a Keltec PF9, recoil was horrid, nearly bent my thumb off, nearly.

my pops is a firm believer in carrying the smallest .45 auto he can find... i think he has a para ord. "slim hawg" now, but its easily smaller than the p2000sk.

honestly i think the HK45c feels like a full size pistol. the HK45 seems huge to me, but ive got average sized hands so... i dont know.

The HK45c is just about a full size pistol. The photo below is my HK45c compared to my full size Glock 21 SF. The Glock is just slightly larger and a bit more hard to conceal but 14 rounds of .45 compared to 9 rounds of .45 more than makes up for it. If HK did make a true compact .45 like the SK models it would probably be only 5+1 capacity plus cost a lot. I love the .45 but rather have 11 rounds of 9mm instead of 6 rounds of .45.

I would buy one, but I would still carry my P2000SK in .40 S&W.

Shoot an IDPA set up with 2 or 3 targets. You're out of rounds pretty darn quick.
i think some people arent happy with the 9mm cartridge. like myself.

i dont shoot idpa and if i did, i wouldnt be using a .45 subcompact pistol to do it. this pistol would be for carry reasons.

what i dont understand is how 6 rounds isnt enough for a cc weapon. almost 100% of the time you would never need more... unless your a horrible shot.

some poeple want a cannon to carry and a 9mm is certainly not that

    just personal pref really

I use to feel that way. After reading everything I could lay my hands on, both on line and on paper, on ballistics, actual shootings that include failures to stop, etc., I have come to the conclusion that a 9mm with a premium JHP is as effective as any of the three most used SD calibers. That said, I prefer the .40 S&W.

nice work on that photoshop quikz. But I think that a setup would be too hot for that size, and not really controlable. Plus what could a hk45sk offer you that a hk45c couldn't get done. But I am buying a p2000 in 40 and a p2000sk in 9mm so I don't have too much room to talk, but I think a 45 would be too much in that size....or they would have done it already.
