    Are the LEM conversion kits for the HK45C still in stock?

    The site works fine for me.
    Perhaps they were doing maintenance this morning.

    OK guys, I did my LEM conversion tonight.
    It was not easy, but not too difficult.
    I had to pull the parts out because I had a spring in the wrong spot, but all is well.
    I have two questions;
    1. What is this extra spring that was in the LEM kit. There is no reference to it in the instructions.

    2. So the only time I would use the heavy trigger pull would be to do a double strike on a problem primer?
    It that correct?

    I really like the LEM and look forward to trying at the range.
    As stated, it is nothing like the Sig DAK trigger at all.

    From this;

    To this;

    I like it...........................

    That looks like the firing pin block spring. If converting from a standard variant you do not need to replace this spring and you will get about a pound lighter pull than if you did replace the FPB spring with the one in the kit.

    That is correct, the only time you have that real heavy pull is if you have a misfire and attempt a restrike.

    Thank you Big Bore.

    Your posts were more than helpful.
    I couldn't have done this conversion myself without the info here.
    It is greatly appreciated...1LL

    Please help me identify the correct firing pin block spring for LEM. Does it have less coils or more compared to a USP/c V1 block spring? Can I use the LEM FPBS in V1 configuration? Safely? Heavier or lighter SA pull? THX

    Coil number doesn't matter, it is the strength of the spring. If you want the light LEM keep the FPBS and TRS that is already in your USPC and do not use the ones in the kit. See the other thread about converting the USPC to the LEM.
