I am not a big fan of giving anything but a positive, but I was somewhat disappointed in my transaction with JJ. This isn't a negative but just a disappointing transaction.
Ordered 50 G3 HK marked mags on 11/10/2008
Got the total including shipping and tax, paid on 11/13/2008
Mags were supposed to have been shipped around first of Dec, but jj said they came back to him from USPS. First time this has ever happened to me, and a bit unusual.
He said he would send again but wanted a street address, so I gave him my friend's as I only use my Post Office Box for deliveries on base (they frown on UPS deliveries).
Package finally shipped on 12/15/2008, UPS had a problem delivering it because the zip was wrong on 12/16/2008, package was delivered 12/17/2008.
Unfortunately, my father turned for the worse the next day (he passed over the holidays) and I never got to unbox them completely until last weekend.
The mags were mostly ok, a few rough feedlips (I understood these were used when I bought them, not worried about scuffs, insertion marks stupid crap like that, they are shooters), but I only got 48, so I am missing 2 and 2 were dented so badly on one side that the follower would jam when depressed.
I would really like to either get 4 mags to replace the damaged/missing ones or a pro-rated amount back. Sent JJ an email last weekend but didn't hear back.
Posting a Neutral to see if anything comes of it. If nothing ever happens I won't lose sleep over it or bitch about it, they weren't that expensive.
