Thank you, synbad, for the first feedback to the Canadian thread, pleasure!

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police tactical team prepare to board the Canadian Coast Guard cutter Pierre Radisson during an exercise in the harbour of Iqaluit, Nunavut in the Canadian Arctic August 25, 2009. Several members of the team stormed the ship in a mock rescue of a hostage.

Pleasure! One more:

Calgary Police Inspector Richard Hinse holds a restricted Heckler and Koch 93 assault weapon which sells for about $3000 during a press conference Friday April 3 at police headquarters. The weapon is part of a haul of guns, ammunition, body armour and a "kill kit" seized from known gang members in a city park recently.

That article is BS and anti gun for people in Canada! The 93 and almost All other HK guns are Prohibited! So you cannot buy one for $3000 or any other price for that matter. These articles use illgal gun siezed from criminals (which itself is good), but portray them as readily available to the average law abiding civilian and then link them to criminals to restrict gun rights.

Just for a reality check: An authentic legal non-restricted G36 sells for $9000.

Thumbs down Gun media bliss... The mis-information factor...

The same MSM BS happens here in the states too...

Along with ignorant L.E. personnel as a reference...

They make it sound like you can buy Automatic Weapons at the Local Hardware Store...
