LOL. You realize asking a bunch of HK Junkies (myself included) the worth of your gun is kind of like asking a broke crack addict what they think a particular piece of crack is worth..

I'd expect all kinds of lowball comments and offers. I think AviatorD has it right, then if no takers after one week, adjust from there.

It's an awesome custom, if I wasn't already so HK broke already I'd definately be interested. Good Luck.

My advice is list it here and the 2 main NFA sales boards for your bottom dollar.
IMHO you will not get a bid over $4500 on GB.
This is a buyer's market right now.
I recently got a new HK sear for $9999 and am looking fo another AR15 RDIAS for that price. I bet it will happen for me.

I'm with Av. Dave. While custom work is cool, it is "custom". Not everyone is looking for such a specialized piece. While I think your piece is cool, I personally wouldn't spend that kind of money on it. I certainly wouldn't spend the money to have one built. Of course you only need to find one buyer not 100, but time is working against you.

September and October tend to be good sales months for firearms. Early November that starts trailing off. By the end of November, money needs to be set aside for X-mas. Then guys are broke from X-mas until tax refund time. If you really wanted the best price for your "K" SD, I would have started to sell/trade by the end of September. If you actually need to sell I would take the advice "cpermd" gave you. Gun money will be drying up, more so, in the next couple weeks. If you want to get the absolute best price by waiting, you might miss that window. If you don't really need to sell, take your time. It might take you until next spring to get what you paid for it. Good luck with the sale.
