I am in the market for a G36 clone. Not a conversion with a TN or HDPS block on a SL8.
The donor will have to be a low usage, new would be best, SL8-6. Furniture desired is as follows: G36C stock with cheek rest G36C rail with iorn sights G36K forgrip G36 magwell with G36 mags Barrel can not be less than 16" I can live with a SL8 barrel and have Joe(Chopstix Kid) turn me down a 16' CQB barrel. Let me know what you guys got. Picks would be nice. |

Are you looking for a converted SL8 with all these features? or an SL8 and all of the parts so that you can do the conversion yourself?

So,
You are looking for a Tom Bostic or Chopstix Kid conversion only, where the rear of the receiver has been cut/modified? Most of these "Converted" SL8's will be of the HDPS stock block or TN/SW lower receiver. Very few will be of the Bostic/Chopstix variety. Last edited by porschechris; 11-08-2009 at 01:00 AM. |

When I meant by "Clone", I would never dare call the creations of Tom Bostic and Chopstix Kid a conversion. Their work of art is as close as you can get to a real G36, at least for most of us common folk.

There is a partially completed Bostic HK G36K on gunbroker. Still needs a little TLC and US parts.

I think I am missing what the difference between a clone and a conversion is here. They are ALL conversions of some sort unless we're talking about post dealer samples
